What You’ll Do
- Provide skilled physical therapy services under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies
- Communicate patient progress and changes in condition with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team
- Complete accurate and timely documentation while maintaining Medicare and agency standards
Qualifications
- Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Home health experience preferred, but not required
- Experience with WellSky or another home health EMR is a plus
